Minerals for Children

Minerals for children are more important than the topic minerals for adults. When kids do not get enough essential minerals, this leads to health problems. Children need minerals for health, growth, bone tissue forms, the composition of blood, and so on. For example, too little calcium can lead to a weakening of the bones, rickets for children.

Some children may be recommended to minerals for children as accessories, but usually kids do not need to keep as healthy diet. Children rarely have a bad diet, or (due to liver disease), muscular dystrophy, the orthopedic compensation, or other chronic health problems, mineral supplements to prevent deficiencies are necessary.

Children and younger children need about 10 mg of iron per day, as an example, young people and adults need about 12-15mg daily.

Calcium is responsible for their child bones. Calcium is suggested that high-priority among the other minerals for children. During the period of active growth, calcium is unreliable for the development of strong bones. Necessary daily intake of calcium to prevent rickets, muscular dystonia, teeth problems. It is also important that the calcium, the child to prevent the development of osteoporosis in adults. Kids to require about 800 mg of calcium per day, youth and adults need about 1200-1500mg daily.

After six months of age, all children need additional fluoride to help prevent tooth decay. In some regions, children can get needed fluoride from water, drink. Adolescents are the lack of zinc more than small children, it is important for growth, mental stress, nervous system, stability and sexual maturation. Infants need about 3-5 mg of zinc each day, while teenagers need about 10-15mg.
