sweatSweating is something which is a natural phenomenon. We sweat during extremely hot weather conditions or while performing some kind of strenuous physical exercise. However, excessive sweating can be harmful. Excessive sweating in medical terms is called hyperhidrosis.

Hyperhidrosis is a condition where a body sweats in certain areas, in higher quantities than is normally required by the body. The common symptoms include excessive appearance of sweat on the hands and foot. The sweating of the body is controlled by the nervous system. When it comes to excessive sweating, it is mostly a function of the sympathetic nervous system over which the body has no control.

It is mostly a condition that is inherited and can affect anybody. A person suffering from this condition may develop a low self esteem.
